With the exception of Christmas, I have never been much of a seasonal decorator. However, as my children become older and more aware of holidays and the seasons, it does inspire me to decorate a little bit. You will never find spiderweb bushes or giant spiders and witches at my house, but I do think pumpkins can be a beautiful Fall addition to a home.
Here are some Fall decorations that inspire me. Maybe one of these days I will get around to actually doing some Fall decorating other than the yellow mums and pumpkins on my front porch!
Oversized pumpkins placed atop a pair of urns create a dramatic entrance.

One of my favorite ways to display pumpkins is layered in graduating sizes on top of urns, creating a topiary effect.

I'm not sure how much overlap there is between hydrangea season and pumpkin season, but they make a beautiful combination.

Inside the home, a grouping of pumpkins on a mantle adds color and holiday spirit. The wheat wreath layered over the mirror brings depth and texture to the space.

If pumpkins aren't your thing, changing leaves tucked into a lantern adds a festive and colorful touch. It doesn't hurt that the architecture of this home is stunning!

These rust colored mums are a nice twist on the traditional yellow.

One of those perfectly sunny yet cool days of Fall.

Are you decorating for Fall at your house?

I am just like you and only decorate for Christmas. However my two year old son has now decided Halloween is his favorite holiday and of course its my least favorite. My mom jokes about it all the time. Needless to say my house is now filled with Halloween trinkets like pumpkins and vampires. Whatever makes the kids happy, right?
This year, I really did get into fall. I even stenciled a ginger jar pumpkin.
Nosotros estamos comenzando la primavera pero yo adoro tus imágenes

I also do not seasonal decorate much! But love these front door ideas:). Take care, Caroline
Omgosh, love the pumpkins/brownstone shot!
