Have you looked through the Lands End catalog lately? I recently flipped through a copy at my parents' house and was impressed with some really cute offerings for Fall, especially in their Canvas line. I think it really competes with J.Crew, but the price point is lower. I'm sure it's made in China just like 90% of what you find at J.Crew. But you can't beat the style for the price.
This camel cape would be perfect for 90% of Fall/ Winter here in Charlotte, where it doesn't get too super cold. Everywhere else, it would be perfect for Fall. It looks fab with skinny jeans, and it's reversible, too (although I'm not as wild about the plaid).
You can't go wrong with navy, stripes, and orange. I typically think of that combo as a Spring look, but they have used the right materials to make it perfect for Fall.
I think I need this parka. And the chambray shirtdress.
A down vest is a Fall wardrobe staple. It looks so cute with skinny jeans, over a fitted oxford shirt, paired with tall boots. This version is a re-issue of the 1979 Lands End vest.
Colorful skinny cords for $60? Yes, please!
What do you think? Is J.Crew shaking in their (ankle) boots?
