Decking the Walls

I've been busy decorating some walls in my home! 

First, in my office/ playroom downstairs, I added this punchy pink flamingo!  It's (a copy of) an Audubon watercolor, full of gorgeous colors.  I had it matted in a blue/gray with a chocolate brown inner mat, paired with a gold frame.

I like how the gold frame picks up the brass and copper hues of the Jere piece over the fireplace.

And in my entryway, I added this antique baroque mirror.  In person, the white finish is very matte, so it looks old and full of character.  I like pairing it with a modern light fixture for contrast.
