If you are like me, the quickest way to drop $100 (make that $200 when you are buying diapers) is to walk through the sliding red doors at Target. I went today to check out the new Shops at Target concept, and of course I didn't leave empty handed.
The "Connecticut Privet House" pieces were cute but pretty picked over. I snapped a couple pictures, but they only had odd single cups and plates left, no sets.
I really did consider buying these galvanized steel (tin? aluminum?) palm trees. I probably would paint them a fun color like kelly green, but the lines are great. They would be chic on one end of a mantle that needs something tall.
The "Miami Webster" line of clothes is colorful and fresh for spring. It felt like "old Miami" with a touch of Beverly Hills Hotel, with lots of coral, green, and banana leaves. Here are a few pieces I liked (and may or may not have purchased...)
This fun little dress had an art deco vibe and is the perfect beach cover-up!
A green and white leafy tunic would be so cute with white jeans. It has pockets, too.
They had fitted blazers in coral and navy with shiny gold buttons, lined in a fun patterned fabric.
This robe in the sleepwear section is a definite throw-back to one of my favorite places on earth, the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Cute bangles in the same pattern...
and a maxi-dress, too.
Have you checked out the Shops at Target?

Target lovers unite!! I went to Target to check out The Shops early on Sunday morning and walked off with quite a few pieces, including that maxi dress and a bunch of the privet house items. I also did a blog post covering my findings- http://www.design-eyeonline.com/shopping-the-shops-at-target/
I have never hear of the "shops". I think I see a red bulls-eye in my future.
I got some cute reversible napkins from the Privet House line - coral and green!
I was so excited to fine The Shops at Target too! It is always so refreshing. Did you see the cardigans? I wanted all the galvanized buckets.
