Client Project: Myers Park Family Room

I am so excited to share this client project with you!  My client lives here in Charlotte and is originally from Florida.  She is a busy mom to two precious little boys and loves pink and green Palm Beach style just as much as I do!  We started working together on her family room and dining room.  Because this is where her family spends a lot of time together, so we needed everything to be both comfortable and child-friendly.

Here is the original inspiration board I put together for the project:

And here is where we are today:

We recovered her two sofas with lime green herringbone piped in white.  A natural bamboo chair adds an organic element to the room.

The seagrass/ jute blend rug adds texture and is soft on little feet (thanks to the jute).  We chose a colorful pique floral fabric for the curtains.  The lucite waterfall end tables keep things light and spacious.

We used a fabulous vintage tole chandelier overhead.

This family room adjoins her dining room, which we are currently working on.  Here is a sneak peek at our progress in the dining room:

I want to live in that room! I love it - perfect and warm and inviting. Those end tables are *exactly* what I have been looking for - can you provide details?

I love the curtains too. Excited to see how the dining room turns out!

I agree this is a room that invites you to relax and find a little comfort in your day. Wonderful colors. Accents make the room.

You have done a wonderful job here. I love all of the different textures and elements... the airy lucite tables with the darker heavier coffee table, all of the pink and green. So nicely done, and nice photos by Mrs. Fuchs!

This is so timely. I am getting around to updating my living room pieces (in a new house) that flows right into the dining room. I am wondering if draperies should be the same in both rooms - and have
also been looking for greek key trim (please reference in the upcoming DR post). Can't wait to see what you have done with this DR!
