My breakfast room is finally complete! After debating what to do on my windows, I decided to order roman shades from The Shade Store. I considered having roman shades custom made, but what I really wanted was a solid color with trim around the edges, which The Shade Store carries in their normal repertoire. I ordered a bunch of samples from The Shade Store, and I decided on my fabric and trim. They sent someone to come measure (he also installed them), and my shades were hung within just a couple of weeks of ordering them. You can see 2 of the 4 windows in this picture.
Here is a "before" with the blinds that came with our house. They just suck the style out of a room!

One of these days I will get around to getting real pictures taken, so we can do a proper tour of the breakfast room with sourcing. Until then, I am just thankful for no more blinds!
