Patio Perfection

I've done a little online browsing for outdoor patio furniture.  My DREAM would be a set of vintage Brown Jordan faux bamboo pieces.  They are made so well, and the style is the ultimate in Palm Beach chic.  They pop up on Circa Who every now and then, but entire sets are rare and sell very quickly.

Brown Jordan has released a new faux bamboo line called Calcutta II.  It is made of aluminum and crafted with faux bamboo details.  Truly stunning.  But really pricey.  As in about $15,000 for an outdoor dining set (table and chairs).

As much as I love it, that's not going to happen.

I have to admit I don't always look through the Home Decorators catalog when it comes, but this weekend, as I was mourning my broken table and broken tooth, I decided to flip through the catalog.  And look at what was gracing the pages:

A fabulous faux bamboo (aluminum to withstand the elements) outdoor living set.  I absolutely love the Chinese chippendale style, and it even includes the cushions.

It comes in a dining set, too.  And the dining table does NOT have a glass top!!

I am seriously in love.  It is so hard to find chic outdoor furniture without spending a small fortune.

So sorry about your Friday the 13th bad luck, but it looks like your luck is turning around. That patio set is great and what a good price!!

I think that Ballards also did a bamboo set?

Thanks for posting this! I saw the dining set last fall but couldn't find it again this spring when i was looking. Just order it. I also went through amazon and saved $300 with their free shipping.
