The March 2012 issue of Better Homes and Gardens has reaffirmed my love for Stark's Antelope carpet. Designer Katie Rosenfeld uses Antelope in her warm and comfortable family room.
Antelope is a classic pattern that functions as a very stylish neutral. It is one of Stark's all-time best sellers (along with the classic diamond sisal, of course). Some people might think that an animal print is very style-specific and room-specific, but it really can work in nearly any room and with nearly any style. Katie's room (above), is a good example of how Antelope can be used in a casual space.
Antelope works so beautifully in these spaces.

Antelope is so chic and versatile- it is the perfect rug to use when an oriental feels too traditional, but a geometric pattern feels too modern. I have a cheetah rug in my dining room (I wish it was Stark Antelope- one day....) Would you use it in your home?
