Although the digital era has certainly changed the way we shop, sometimes it is so refreshing to flip through a catalog full of colorful, glossy photographs. Often I love something in print that I overlooked on the website. Here are a few of the items I dog-eared in my latest set of catalogs.
This parsons console doesn't look so exciting online, but imagine it styled in an entryway with a pair of lamps on top and a pair of fun stools underneath. And it even comes in orange!
For some reason I get the Schweitzer Linen catalog. I've never bought anything there, but I have heard so many good things about their bed linens. They fill that no-mans-land between Pottery Barn and Leontine.
This console is gorgeous and reminds me of one of my Cottage Living favorites.
Are Moroccan rugs officially over now that they have been reproduced for West Elm? I still like them.
I'm loving the vibrant blue color of this gourd lamp. Notwithstanding a Christopher Spitzmiller creation, I don't know why anyone would spend an arm and a leg on a gourd lamp when it is so easy to find an affordable version.
When MoS Washington pointed out this lucite coffee table to me the other week, I couldn't believe it. We've all seen the vintage versions of this style fetching REALLY big bucks...
The Pier 1 version of the classic X-base end table looks pretty good!
Pottery Barn does the spindle chair. Not my favorite fabric, but the lines of the chair are great.
Leave it to Z Gal to bring us a fabulous camel garden stool. Your friends will swear it's from Circa Who.
Have you come across any good catalog finds lately?
