When it comes to Christmas greenery, it's always fir that seems to get all the glory. Maybe boxwoods if people are really going out on a limb (ha). I saw all sorts of gorgeous Christmas greenery this weekend when I attended the St. Albans house tour in Kalorama (highly recommend if you are in the DC area), but especially loved the greenery that incorporated magnolia as an accent. It was a gorgeous southern twist on otherwise traditional garlands and wreaths. I don't have any pictures from the tour, but I did find a few great examples of magnolia gone Christmas that show its versatility.
Source unknown. But that mantle!
Source unknown. Great outdoor garland though!
Are you decorating with magnolia this Christmas?
