A Magnolia Christmas

When it comes to Christmas greenery, it's always fir that seems to get all the glory. Maybe boxwoods if people are really going out on a limb (ha). I saw all sorts of gorgeous Christmas greenery this weekend when I attended the St. Albans house tour in Kalorama (highly recommend if you are in the DC area), but especially loved the greenery that incorporated magnolia as an accent. It was a gorgeous southern twist on otherwise traditional garlands and wreaths. I don't have any pictures from the tour, but I did find a few great examples of magnolia gone Christmas that show its versatility. Southern Living

Yes because it is right outside my front door! ...and I love it.

Although I've never done it (fully), I think magnolias are my favorite for Christmas. My goal is to do a full magnolia Christmas at some point!

Always! I'm originally from Mobile, so I never thought about how it wasn't a traditional choice until you mentioned it, since it's so prevalent there.
