Last night I finally got around to doing something I'd been putting off for ages...organizing my "jewelry drawer." After weeks of fishing jewelry out of a jumbled pile on my dresser (and completely forgetting about the pieces that were stored away in a jewelry box in the closet), I decided to organize the chaos a bit.
So I emptied a drawer and also purchased a few lucite divided trays from the container store. And one specifically for jewelry with a soft lining.
A couple of minutes later and voila, organization!
I'm hoping that this cures my "out of sight, out of mind" problem I tend to have with jewelry. It will be helpful having everything in one drawer in front of me.
Of course my jumbled ways still aren't 100% cured...there's still this little necklace mess in the closet to sort out. Another day, another project.

Looks fabulous!! I love having my jewelry on display otherwise I forget about some of my pieces.
I really need to do this with my jewelry! Don't feel bad all of mine looks like whats in your closet!
Oh, we just got a Container Store here in Nashville (opened this past weekend)....I will have to drop by...those lucite trays are perfect! Take care, Caroline
