We absolutely love when readers send us pictures of how they are using their MoS Marketplace purchases. Sometimes we see pictures of something smaller, like a brass object placed perfectly atop a coffee table. And sometimes it's larger, as we see here. Our friends at Birds of a Feather were decorating a client's house a couple months ago. They spotted curtains and a cornice board in Schumacher's Water's Edge on MoS Marketplace and knew it would be perfect for their client's living room.
Schumacher's Water's Edge is a beautiful pattern with waterfowl and plants in a peachy cream background with blue accents.
And wouldn't you know, the blue in the fabric is a dead-ringer for Farrow and Ball's Hague Blue?! So the talented gals at Birds of a Feather did what any good decorator would encourage her clients to do- LACQUER the walls in Hague Blue. Not just the walls but the moldings, the bookshelves, the mantle, EVERYTHING.
Definitely a bold move. With definitely amazing results.
Aren't the curtains just perfect for the Hague Blue walls?
They found the vintage brass palm tree chandelier in the client's attic!
Jean Harlow watches from over the mantle.
Are you as inspired as we are?
