Since I have been updating my family room and breakfast room and have a Saarinen Tulip Table headed my way, I think my chairs might need some updating too. I'm using a settee on one side against the wall, so I'm thinking a pair of Era Arm Chairs might be in order. The cane seat makes them comfortable, and I love the lines of the chair!
I'm debating between turquoise and green. The turquoise is a deeper, much bolder hue of the color on the walls, and the green is a slightly bolder version of the green in my family room (which adjoins the breakfast room).
What do you think?

I am in the process of returning the green chair. The color is more suited to a child's room. It lacks depth. If possible, check it out in person.
I just found a pair of similar chairs at the Goodwill about a month ago and I've been debating on what color to paint them...I think Im sold on the green!

I saw the pics of your lovely fam room and would go with the brown or black (obviously not white since your table is gonna be white)...you already have a lot of color and if you needed more could set a cute pillow in the seat. Just a thought. The Paper Road

Love them...I'm actually getting 8 off of CL this weekend for $200, yay. They are black, but I'm thinking color too. We'll see! Hope you ladies are well. xx Danielle
ps...don't think any of those colors work for me so now toying with the thought of getting the white and having them spray lacquered navy. And by toying, I mean trying to convince Babe who doesn't want to in essence "pay for the chairs twice". Commence scheming...XXOO
Can I ask where you're getting your Saarinen table? I would love to get a marble top one for my kitchen table, but can't afford the Design Within Reach prices. I know there are many knockoffs, but which one is quality?
What size table did you order? I'm thinking of ordering the 47" but not sure it'll comfortably seat 6. I hear it will but I'm not quite believing it... on the other hand, the 54" seems too big for us.
