Iris Apfel Designs Jewelry for HSN

You may have seen interior designer Iris Apfel's New York apartment in the most recent issue of Architectural Digest (which, in my opinion, is now worth subscribing to thanks to the changing of the guard at AD).  Apfel is certainly eccentric and spirited, and her apartment reflects her worldiness and varied experiences.  We are thrilled to see that she is currently designing a line of costume jewelry for HSN, inspired by many of her travels and her own collection of costume jewelry.  The pieces incorporate bold colors and organic elements to resemble horn and tortoise.  Iris Apfel for HSN will debut in September and be priced from $20 to $180.

Here are a few of our favorites:

In case you missed her apartment in Architectural Digest, here are a few photos:

What is your favorite piece from the collection?  I am loving the oversized toucan pin!

Did you hear about the scandal of Iris knocking off another designer (Hanna Bernhard). Apparently the toucan piece has been done by Hanna, Iris owns the Hanna piece and then copied it for HSN.
