Punchy Pineapples

You've probably already seen the shimmery Kate Spade pineapple change purse that has made the rounds throughout the blogosphere over the past month.  It is adorable and fun, although I have to admit it's very small and definitely a change purse, not a clutch.  It's sold out online, but on Friday I saw one at the Charlotte store.

Over the weekend I took advantage of the Kate Spade Friends and Family event and bought these gold jeweled flat sandals.  I think they are so cute for spring and summer- I wear flat sandals like these all the time, dressed up or dressed down.  I love the leather soles too- they seriously increase the chicness factor in summer sandals.

While I was shopping, I noticed Kate has definitely embraced the pineapple with her spring line.  This clutch caught my eye, but sadly I now don't carry clutches nearly as often as I did in the past.  You can't fit a bag of Goldfish and a spare diaper in a clutch, of course.

I love little jeweled stud earrings for everyday wear- aren't these little pineapples adorable?!

Kate Spade isn't the only place where pineapples have been the star of the show.  While shopping at The Tobacco Barn a few weeks ago, I spotted this kitchen table with a large pineapple base.

And, of course, a trip to the Florida Keys last year left me feeling inspired by pineapples.

"Vintage Pineapple" is a good search term to use on etsy and ebay.  You might find something fabulous like this little brass bottle opener.  What a great hostess gift!
Etsy Pineapple Bottle Opener, $7 (I have a feeling this will be long gone by the time most people click on the link!)

Or for a fancy schmancy hostess gift, these personalized pineapple coasters in a lucite canister are perfect!

Do you love pineapples as much as we do?!

I love pinespples too. I must say those shoes you bought are awesome! I would love a pair. I am from Charlotte but live in Charleston now but I always visit the Kate Spade store when I am home. Your comment about the clutch made me laugh. I seriously only carry huge bags to fit all the baby stuff I need. There is no way a clutch cuold hold enough things to occupy my son.

Love the shoes you bought, and yes, I LOVE pineapples! Growing up, that was always my mom's signature "thing"--on her stationery, for home accents, etc. You chose such cute things!

I have always loved pineapples! I get it from my mother! Actually when they first married(my dad is a citadel grad & they have a love for charleston which of course they have tons of pineapple thigns there!) They had a pineapple couch!! Now ok it was tan with tiny navy pineapple pattern on it but i always loved it. So 80s now but still have fond memories laying on it as a kid!

But I got this just 2 weeks ago-when it was on sale for $19.99!!!--
