I flipped when I saw the wallpaper below...soft green peacocks, birdcages, and foliage in the chinoiserie style. No, it's not House Beautiful...it's the Pier 1 website! Actually, based on what I've seen lately, chinoiserie certainly seems to be having a moment at chain retailers.
Case in point...spotted on Saturday at World Market...this gorgeous pagoda pillow.
World Market also has this fantastic chinoiserie shower curtain for $29.99
And this fab pillow with turquoise accents that would look great paired with the pagoda pillow above.
Also, he's not exactly chinoiserie, but I couldn't help but love this sophisticated elephant lamp in green glaze.
Meanwhile, back at Pier1, we've got the Asian-inspired Kushak Console Table- love the sophisticated lines.
These blue and white scenic ceramic vases are a fantastic price- and tall enough to be an umbrella stand??
Happy President's Day, everyone...if you're out and about, don't forget to pick up something chinoiserie!

I'm all over it as well- hoping to include a lot of chinoiserie in my new kitchen!
It's too bad that Pier One isn't selling the wallpaper!!!
Great finds! I like the lamp too. ;-)
I think I need that shower curtain! I'm glad chinoiserie is having it's moment, hopefully I can get some cute things for a good price!
I also really love the green and navy together.
