It looks like J.Crew, LL Bean, and Lands End aren't the only catalog companies who have stepped up their game recently. My mother-in-law gave me some really cute jewelry and accessories from Talbots for Christmas, so I decided to check out their website. And I am glad I did! It is definitely more stylish and modern than I remembered. I would still describe their designs as classic sportswear, but they've made the line current by adding skinny pants, ruffles, stripes, and shorts!
Here are a few of our favorite looks from the Spring 2011 look-book! Most of these items will be available in late January.
So what do you think? Will you consider "springing" for this new Talbots line?

Um..LOVE IT ALL! But not sure this HUGE belly will fit into any Spring lines...hopefully by Summer/Fall wear! But the Chanel jacket look with shorts? TOO CUTE!
Wow--that's not how I remembered Talbot's! Love how they paired turq heels with a classic black/camel work outfit. That's a fun idea!
Looking alot like JCrew these days. Apparently an executive from JC has scooted over to Talbots to renew its image and include a younger shopper. Just lovely things, for sure.
Wow, this is exciting! The dresses are a little long for my taste, but I adore that cropped jacket and the striped T's. So happy to see that Talbot's is stepping up their game!

I was thinking the same thing recently - Walked by a Talbots and almost didnt recognize the outfits in the windows!
I did a double take by a store window the other day too! Very, very exciting.
Looks promising. I love the nipped waists and full skirts. they seem to be taking a cue from Louis Vuitton's lines this season.
