Friday's Cheap and Chic: Faux Bamboo at Target

The other day I took a quick stroll through Target online and was delighted to see a couple of their latest offerings.  First up is this faux bamboo tray table with brass handles.  It's painted a glossy black and is the perfect table to move around your room depending on where you need it.  I'd never guess in a million years that it's from Target.  Would you?

And if using silver every day is cost-prohibitive for you, isn't this set of stainless steel flatware in a bamboo pattern just fabulous?  I think its stainless finish is so much sleeker and more versatile than its actual bamboo cousin

Finally, my friend Jenn at Luxe Living For Less posted about these beautiful suede wedges yesterday.  I was obsessed with the fabulous wedges that Tara Subkoff designed for Easy Spirit a few years back (remember those?), but I couldn't live with the sky-high heel or the sky-high price tag.  These are quite similar but much less expensive and will keep people from assuming that I play for the WNBA (does that still exist?).

Have a great weekend!

This post totally made me smile! I have bamboo flatware, although mine is from Cambridge, I think. I found it on but then found another company that sold the same brand/pattern for less. And I almost bought the suede wedges!
