Loving for Summer: Flat Gladiator Sandals

One of our favorite trends for summer is flat gladiator sandals.  They look so cute with shorts and skinny jeans, as well as with dresses that are a little on the short side.  There is a big range in price points for flat gladiators, so this is a trend nearly anyone can embrace.

Gladiators are perfect for running around town like Nicky H always seems to be doing.

Gwyneth brightens up her outfit with gold.

Kate Moss pairs them with tight-rolled jeans.

Nicole R looks adorable pairing them with a bright sundress.

Here are some of our favorites:

DVF Devi, $260

Jimmy Choo Perforated Sandals, $795 (when did Jimmy Choo get so high?)

Loeffler Randall Back-zip Sandals, $325 (LOVE these too!)

Antik Batik Tipi, $210 (I recently bought these and love them, EXCEPT the zipper doesn't stay up very well in the back....)

For bargain gladiators...

And our pick of the litter:

Tory Burch Blinda, $250 (I REALLY want these!)

Are you digging the trend?  Are gladiators a trend that can work on everyone?

Somtimes, I can't believe the prices that are placed on shoes....I like the Penny ones from Target. I can add my own embellishments :-)

I just bought a pair at TJ Maxx. I wasn't sure if they were for me initially, but gladiators have really grown on me!

I hated gladiators last year, but I like them this year, haven't found the right pair for me yet

I remember when these first came out a few years ago and everyone said they were trendy and would only last a season. I LOVE that they're still popular. And I agree about loving the Loeffler Randalls! The color is amazing.

Gladiator sandals do NOT look good on everyone. With any clothing or shoe trend, remember that others will know how old the item is--and with a trend as ubiquitous as this one, all the top shoe designers will be onto something else next season. Gladiator sandals will have run their course. Enjoy them while it lasts!

Great choices! Ugg of all companies actually made a really cute gladiator this season {its super comfy and pretty reasonably priced} I wrote about it here. Thanks for the great post!
