Maybe it's these limited edition prints and gorgeous matador watercolors from Happy Menocal that have me all in a tizzy...

Maybe it's looking for the umpteeth time at this Miles Redd room that is perfect in so many ways- we've featured it on countless posts, each time for a different reason- today it's the piece de resistance horns flanking the mirror over the mantel....

Maybe it's the matador watercolors I spotted the other weekend at Miss Pixie's and am kicking myself for passing up...
Maybe it's these no-longer-available horn bookends from Williams Sonoma Home...

Or this so-kooky-I-love-it horn chair from Elle Decor....

Maybe it's the upswing in the stock market after a year in the doldrums...

Maybe it's the unique glamor of this horn table in a Kelly Wearstler room...

Or maybe it's these delicious steer horns on lucite from 1st Dibs...

But whatever it is, I'm feeling a little bullish these days- are you? Suddenly bulls and steer horns have gone from the realm of the ranch to the ranch house- they're turning up in so many stylish urban homes. Unlike antlers, which tend to be displayed with a touch of irony when used in Domino-esque homes, polished horns are pure glamor without a hint of camp. We're thinking of adding some horn items to the Matters of Style Store- anyone out there love them as much as we do?

I adore this look! It would make a house feel very "at home on the Range", even in DC!
