Simply Charming!

We have loved charm bracelets since we were little girls.  We could always hear our moms coming towards us from the jingle jangles of their charms.  I started my bracelet when I was a child, and I have collected a gold charm from many cities I have visited while traveling.  It's a fun souvenir, but I also just love the look of a bracelet totally weighted down with meaningful charms!

There is a huge range of options when it comes to charm bracelets.  We prefer yellow gold, which tends to be on the higher end of the price spectrum, but there are lots of fun costume bracelets out there too!

For costume bracelets...

Coach has definitely gotten cuter in the past few seasons thanks to the direction of Reed Krakoff (we love the Madison Sabrina).  We love that Coach has started to move away from the designs that scream logos all over the place in favor of a more classic look.  This little charm bracelet is just adorable!

We love Chanel's fun costume jewelry (although some of it seems to be just as expensive as the real deal).  How cute is this fall bracelet with the tortoiseshell, acorns, and clover leaves?

This clever little Burberry bracelet even has a watch!  The tone-on-tone charms in signature Burberry plaid are perfect preppy style!

The gals over at Juicy love some dangly charms!  We think this bracelet is super cute, especially the graphic black disk charm!

Charm bracelets are quintessential Kate Spade style!  She always uses them in her ad campaigns in such a stylish way.  Like Jonathan Adler says, "Minimalism is a bummer!"  How fun are these pink, black, and gold cube s and circles?

For a gorgeous bracelet to transition from day to evening, we love the pearl, gold, and subtle caning pattern here!

For glitzy glamour, this Kate Spade Lady Marmalade Bracelet is eyecatching to say the least!

Turquoise butterflies make this bracelet so feminine and fun!

Bright colorful fruit add a fun pop of color to any outfit with this bracelet!  Perfect accessory for a cardigan and jeans, when you need a little "pick-me-up" in the cooler weather!

For a more subtle look, we love the simple style of this gold and black enamel Marc by Marc Jacobs bracelet!

This Tory Burch charm bracelet has to be one of our favorites.  We love the tunic, the Reva flat, and her now-famous logo charms especially!  Sadly this bracelet is no longer available on her website, but you can find them on ebay!

If your taste is less preppy and a little more subversive, how about these options:

If you want to splurge for the "real deal" in gold charm bracelets, there are plenty of options out there!  The MoS girls have simple gold bracelets that aren't a fancy designer label, but if you prefer a label, you can absolutely buy a designer bracelet!

We love this David Yurman silver and gold bracelet with adorable heart charms.  We would layer it with a stack of other bracelets (bangles perhaps?).

This little Christian Dior bracelet is so delicate and dainty!  It almost seems perfect for a child.  Except for the fact that it is Dior...

We have been obsessed with Diane von Furstenburg's line for H.Stern since we first saw it in Buenos Aires a couple of years ago.  We love how this gold charm bracelet combines several of the line's key pieces!

Roberto Coin designs fabulous jewelry, and we love the little hidden ruby in every piece (we hear it's on the clasp of this bracelet!).

And the ultimate in fancy gold charm bracelets is this gorgeous bracelet from Tiffany.  We love love love the fabulous Tiffany charms, but we have to admit their prices are really steep.  One trick we have learned is to get charm ideas from Tiffany and then find a similar (real) gold charm elsewhere, for a fraction of the Tiffany price.

And here are a few of our favorite Tiffany charms.

We love to collect charms when traveling. My mom and grandmother have done the same, and it is so much fun to listen to their stories about the trips on their bracelets!

Do you have a charm bracelet?  What is your favorite charm?

My charm bracelet was sterling silver, and each Christmas and birthday, my sister and I would get a new charm. I loved it! I think my fave charm was the ballet slippers--too hard to choose though. Great post, girls!

I have my mom's charm bracelet. Every charm on it was special to her so now they are special to me. I'm lusting for that tiffany's cable car charm! Great blog.
