Colorful Baubles!

Nothing can spruce up an outfit like a piece of fun, colorful statement jewelry! It can make a "blah" work outfit so much cuter, and turn a basic black dress into an elegant, memorable outfit! Verdura's Maltese Cross Cuffs might be the ultimate statement jewelry.
But since we won't likely be buying Verdura anytime soon, here are some other pieces we would love to live with!
From Turq Jewelry (http://www.turqjewelry.com/):

How fab are the large green stones in these Ashley drop earrings from Turq! Very Angelina at the Oscars! $120

This turquoise gumball Eden necklace is the perfect way to add a splash of color to any outfit! $190 From KEP Designs (http://www.kepdesigns.com/)
We love this pink and red necklace from KEP Designs- these colors look great on anyone! $300

Love the vintage clasp on this necklace- reminds me of the clasp of my grandmother's favorite yellow beads! $250

If you want to spend a little more, the "precious stones" line from KEP is amazing. We love this pink opal necklace for $1200. And this green beauty with the fun gold starfish for $1800.

Someone please invite me to a beachy wedding so I can wear this coral necklace! $660
We always love to find out about a talented new designer, and we are thrilled to share with you an adorable line of baubles called Margaret Elizabeth Designs. A MoS mom met her recently at a trunk show, and we are in love! Meg's styles and color choicse are fantastic, and she uses beautiful stones and sterling silver or 24k gold filled clasps. And to make things even better, the price is right!
You will love her website: http://www.margaretelizabeth.com/.
Here is a short list of our favorites!

Amethyst and Gold Briollettes Necklace, $158 Black Onyx and Coral Necklace, $118.
Amethyst Bangle, $65

Clear Quartz Bangle, $60
We would love to wear a stack of these adorable amethyst and vermeil bangles! So Ippolita yet so affordable!
For very accessible (yet less unique) pieces, we love these from J.Crew (http://www.jcrew.com/)

And finally, probably the all-time favorite jewelry designer of the MoS girls, Mr. Kenneth Jay Lane (available at Saks, Vivre, sometimes QVC and Amazon, Bluefly)

Ignoring the creepy mannequin arm, how fabulous is this black lucite, coral, and crystal art deco cuff? We NEED it!! $275 at http://www.bluegenes.com/ And this lapis and turquoise ring is just TDF. We'd wear it on a pointer finger. $165 at http://www.maxandchloe.com/ This coral KJL cuff is a classic! $375 at http://www.saks.com/

And just for fun, any girl would surely find a need to powder her nose if she had this pretty KJL compact in her bag! $111 at http://www.bluefly.com/
Just remember the rule of statement jewelry: Resist the urge to pile it on, and only wear one piece at a time!

I am drooling over these pieces too! Here is another designer I think ya'll would like. I met her at a trunk show at Bendel's back in October and purchased one of her rings. She is very sweet, went to Harvard, and designs jewelry now. She has some gorgeous pieces.
